A double frost! It looked immense outside this morning. It had frosted over yesterday and hadn't really had the chance to fully thaw throughout the day before night fell again, and another frost hit. I thought for a moment that it had snowed, that's how white everything was, but when I looked closer I realised my mistake. We don't get snow here!
I went out with my camera and had a walk around the park behind the house, knowing it's likely the closest thing I'll get to a white Christmas and, most likely, the only time I'll see it this year. I love this shot; there are still a few leaves left on a couple of trees, but I think, after this frost, they'll be shed very soon.
