Some of you may have noticed that the lblog has miraculously come back to life. Some of you may also have noticed the badge that has been at the bottom of almost every post from November 1st onwards. I decided, after seeing mention on The Curious Pug's blog, that I would participate in NaBloPoMo - National Blog Posting Month. It took me until the 4th to sign up because I didn't think I could actually manage to post every single day, but you'll notice that today is the 13th and I've blogged each day so far. And it's been great fun.
I wouldn't have said that my posts were necessarily full of amazing or helpful information, but it certainly convinced me to pull my finger out and actually do something about my declining blog. I decided that I was more or less ready to start posting my writing tips, I've put together a few small gift guides, and I started babbling about rubbish, and I tell you, it feels good.
I think, over the past few months, I've gradually built blogging up in my mind to be something difficult. Well, putting together posts about profound topics isn't something that I can do each and every day, but at least I'm posting again. I'm trying to keep it interesting - for you, and myself - and I think I'm succeeding. For example, although yesterday's post wasn't much of a post at all, I'm still glad to have found the rings, and I really do feel that they are worth mentioning, as with some other things coming soon.
As for NaBloPoMo, prizes are involved, but I'm pretty sure that, being in the UK, I'm not eligible. I don't care, to be honest. I'm just glad to be posting again. And this endeavour has also served to remind me that posting doesn't have to be difficult.
