Creative Writing Tips - What's to Come

For the last couple of months, I've been working on advice posts for creative writing, using my own experience. First I will state that the posts to come will not necessarily work for everyone, but it works for me, and if you want to have a go at creative writing, then these guides are as good a place to start as any!

My posts will cover where I start when beginning a plan for a new book; building protagonists (good guys) and antagonists (bad guys); world technologies and advancement; character deaths and so on. All of these posts apply to the fantasy genre - most also apply to science fiction, and some can be applied to normal fiction.
Examples have been used in some cases, taken from existing books, films, games and tv shows. I do not own any of the images used, and have linked them to the sources from which I have found them.

You can access the list of posts with the "Creative Writing Tips" button in the navigation toolbar (currently on the right hand side of this page at time of posting), and there you will see the titles of already available posts - these will be links to the corresponding pages - and the titles of those to come, so check back often. Once the list dries up, there may still be more added in the future.

If you would like advice on something specific that I've not covered - I have generalised these posts, afterall - then please get in touch and I will honestly be more than happy to put together a new post focusing on the point you've raised. I really want to build this category of my blog up as much as I can, and suggestions and requests will only help.

Oh, and have you read my Curious Sister's book-to-be? Murphy's Mysterious Mysteries - copyrighted to the lovely Sarah Evans!

I hope you find these posts helpful!
