Today I sat outside and had some afternoon tea and scones from Sconnoisseur in the shade of the acer tree in the garden. It was quite peaceful, but that may have been because I was by myself and, mercifully, school's back in so there were no kids screaming outside. So it was a simple attempt at a Wild Day but it was surprisingly nice to take the time to stop and slow down. Sparrows didn't notice me so they swooped onto the bird feeder and the blackbirds were singing nearby.
