#DifferenceMakesUs - Myth of the Wild Crafting Process

With Etsy's #DifferenceMakesUs campaign, I thought I might reveal a little about my crafting process! I've not done this before because, unlike a lot of people, I don't really have a dedicated space for my work. Not a conventional one, at least. And so I was concerned I might look unprofessional, but I'm putting that behind me more for the sake of others who might be in the same boat. You don't need to have a studio or personal work space to run a business. I juggle it with writing and caring full-time for my mum, and I manage to make do! So for the next few weeks, I'm going to be sharing pictures and explanations for my process from gathering visual references right to heading to the post office!

So over the next four Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm going to take you through my process from deciding upon an animal and gather resources, all the way to packing the finished piece and shipping it out! I'm quite excited about this, actually, because I've never actually shown anything like this before and also because it means that I am blogging every day this month.

Consider this post the archive! All #DifferenceMakesUs posts in the next four weeks will be linked below:
