It rained yesterday evening and I got some amazing bokeh through the evening shade, and I got a wonderful photograph of these flowers today in the sun. I couldn't help overlaying the two and I was astounded by the effect! Isn't it gorgeous?! I'm so happy with it, it's one of the best pictures I've made in a really long time. I love the mix of turquoise, greens and blues, the little bokeh circles themselves and the softened focus on the flowers. I'm really pleased with this.
I've become a lot more aware of the flowers in the garden since starting 30 Days Wild, and I'm really seeing a lot more detail in everything I previously disregarded as being simple. Look at all the different sized buds at the top of this cluster of flowers, and look at the odd arrangement of petals - it looks like two have been pinched from every single one of them!
